Albert Renger-Patzsch remained very objective as a photographer he didn't let his own personality get involved within his work, he wanted to intensify the appreciation by making it as realistic as possible. He also took images in a way that made people see the beauty in man-made and natural things he did lots of close ups and as he made them isolated he discovered more forms and motifs that aren't normally seen, he enabled people to see the world with fresh eyes. Albert Renger-Patzsch's work is mostly close-ups and he takes his images all at very interesting angles. The type of images he liked to take were of man-made objects to show the beauty of them. Within his work he used the formal elements like Light, line and texture he made sure all of his images were very close-up to try and show the beauty of the world around him whether it was man made or natural. His book 'The World Is Beautiful' Albert Renger-Patzsch showed that the texture of wood, stone, metal and cloth could all be shown through photography with their characteristics.

My Response.
Each of my images are inspired by Albert Renger-Patzsch they all are quite zoomed in and in black and white much like his. I think that this is the best image because its very simplistic, it has a very strong presence of line and tone. Also on the wall you can really see all the different textures on the wall. However, certain parts of the image much darker than others.
This images is the worst of all the images because it has too much light appearing at the top of it making the rest of the image look a lot darker. However, the image is quite zoomed in but itsn't really focussed enough. Also this image isn't very strong in terms of any of the formal elements it doesn't show strong lines, shapes or textures.
